Collaborative Google Slideshow
Once a month I create a Career Development related lesson plan for 45 advisory teachers at Central High School to deliver to 1000 students. I often use Google Slides to organize and present information or lesson plan. Occasionally I will bring one or two classes of students to the CHS Auditorium to hear various speakers. Beforehand, I create a basic Google Slide Show and then share the show with the speakers. Each speaker can then add his/her exact information and links to the slideshow. Collaborating on the creation of the slideshow reduces my work load, saves time, and ensures that students get the best information. Before the presentation I edit each slide layout for uniformity between slides. After the presentation, the slideshow is shared with the students who attended using class specific email groups.
