I became enamored with lettering the last semester of college in 1971. While I stayed home and raised kids I began a personal study of the history and form of letters. Before I knew it, I was teaching community enrichment classes for Chemeketa Community College. I worked for Chemeketa for 17 years. I also started a part time graphic design business where I did commission work from a home studio. Here is a sample of my calligraphy:
