The CHS Teen Parent Program was restarted in 2015. Since then it has grown and stabilized. This year the Teen Parent Class was divided into three groups. We went on walking field trips to visit resources for teen parents in and around the school. Students then produced videos surveying the resources available, so that new teen parents would be aware of the support available. The students wrote scripts and then produced the videos on Chromebooks using Screencast-o-matic extension for Chrome. Videos were produced in both English and Spanish. This project not only helped the teen parents themselves become aware of resources, but it extended their technology , collaboration and problem soving skills.
