One of the most important concepts I learned in the Info Tech program was the idea of testing instructional guides. This has been a challenging practice to implement. I often create handouts and instructions right before I need them. Establishing a practice of testing these tools to ensure their effectiveness is a discipline. Even if I only test a guide on just a few students, the benefit from getting a student perspective is invaluable.
