CHS PLP Career Development Website
From 2007 to 2015 the Senior Project was an exit requirement for graduation from Central High school. I was given the task of designing that project which ended up having a service learning focus. In 2015 the school board retired the senior project in favor of a career development focused requirement. I designed design the new requirement which is called the Personalized Learning Plan. The PLP is a collection of evidence for a student's next step after high school. It includes a resume, applying for the FAFSA, a demonstration of research,an application to a school, program or job, volunteer community service, and an exit essay.
I am in the process of creating a website containing instruction guides and resources for students. It is one of my professional growth goals for the year. The website is under construction but will be finished in April of 2018.
