2018 Instructional Guides
The 2017 Packet contained all of the PLP instructions. The requirement was still new and not imbedded into the CHS culture so giving thorough information was necessary.
By 2018 we will have had three years of the PLP. Since it is now much more familiar, I was able to streamline the documents that guide students.
Every student must complete a PLP Portfolio to graduate from CHS. The PLP itself, is designed to be flexible enough to accommodate every student's individualized exit plan. To deliver the PLP requirements, I created an instructional guide which was printed and distributed to seniors. The guide was also shared with seniors on their Google Drive. The 2017 instructions had all of the information in one packet. The 2018 version was divided into the basics of the portfolio and the research worksheets. Students must choose one of the six research worksheets that corresponds, to include in their portfolio.
